The lineman in my area is really a stupid man, all he does is comes down at my home, sees if telephone is working fine and internet link is up at that particular time or not and then leaves. The wire should not have any joints for the continues flow of the signal. Joints makes the connection slow as well as frequent disconnection of the internet.
