PureVPN is based on the island of Hong Kong. On one hand, this is a positive, since Hong Kong is outside of the “ Fourteen Eyes ”, and it’s not as hostile to P2P as some countries. However, there are some questions about China’s recent privacy track record. These aren’t as relevant to torrenting though.
